Program Summary

The Merrimack Valley Youth Program is designed to inspire and empower our youth through engaging activities, educational opportunities, and spiritual growth. Here’s what we have planned for this semester:

Cost

The program cost is $200 per student. This covers all the costs associated with running the program, such as games, activities, and food. This also allows us to make investments in improving the quality of the program.

Outings and retreats will be an additional cost

Student Requirements

To participate in the program you must be in middle school or high school.

The program is open to both boys and girls, but majority of lessons and activities are separated.

Students must be able to attend all sessions in a timely manner, of course unless due to emergency or extenuating circumstances.

Students must wear appropriate clothing befitting the mosque.

Schedule

Dates: January 26, 2025 - May 11, 2025

Day: Every Sunday

Time: 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Location: Islamic Society of Greater Haverhill

We aim to have 12 sessions, and a total of 3 outings and retreats. We will update this page with a week by week schedule soon.

Curriculum

The theme for this semester is "The Day of Judgement". Each session will include thought-provoking discussions and lectures on this important topic, helping participants understand its significance and lessons for daily life.

All the lessons include verified references to the Quran and Hadith, ensuring that participants receive authentic and accurate information. Additionally, it has been reviewed by qualified individuals of knowledge to ensure accuracy. Please see the lesson outline below
